BABY DEDICATION service January 21
Central Baptist Church defines Parent/Child Dedication as the parental willingness to partner with God and the Church to raise your child. Dedication is not baptism nor does it impart salvation on the child. The dedication ceremony is a time for the family to publicly make that commitment to pray for the child, love the child and guide the child toward a personal relationship with Christ. Central Baptist Church dedicates children because in Luke 2:22-25 we read that as a baby, Jesus was dedicated by his parents.
